Xampp Installing in Kali Linux Operating System

Hey Friends again welcome you to our blog and today I will tell you how you can installing the XAMPP server inside your Kali Linux.

First of all, you have to search the (XAMPP for Linux) on Google. After that, you have to click on the download Xampp which is the first result. From where you can download your XAMPP server for your Linux.

1. Download The Xampp Server

After this, the version you want to install will have to be downloaded. All versions only for 64-bit operating systems. So if your RAM is less than 4GB then you should not download this versions.

2. Installing The XAMPP

Command :- ./(YOUR XAMPP FILE NAME)

After downloading the XAMPP server you have to go to your download folder or wherever you have downloaded the XAMPP server

Then you have to installing your XAMPP which is given above by the command and also in the photo Is told.

After this, some such window will be shown in front of you, here you have to click on the next.

3. Select Your Components

Then some such window was shown in front of you, in which the setup of the XAMPP is asking you which components you want to install inside your Kali Linux, select them and click on the next.

Then the setup will tell you that your XAMPP server will be installed in the (/opt/lampp) folder in your kali Linux, after which you have to click on the next.

After this, you will have to click on Next to install the XAMPP. And then the automatic XAMPP server will be installed in your Kali Linux.

Then there will be some window in front of you,
Inside which you have been told that your XAMPP server has been successfully installed. If you want to launch the XAMPP Server, tick the top of the launch XAMPP and then click on the Finish button.

4. Kali – Start And Stop Your Xampp Server

You can see that in my Kali Linux machine, XAMPP has created two folders in which our XAMPP server is installed, you have to go inside those two folders.

Command :-./lampp start 
Command :-./lampp stop

After this, to start the XAMPP server, you have to paste the above commands so that your XAMPP server will start. You can see in the photo that my server is already running and if you have to stop XAMPP then its command also Given above.

5. Uninstalling The Xampp Server

Command :- cd /opt/lampp

If you want to uninstall your XAMPP server then you have to go to your Xampp folder.

Command :- ./uninstall

Then after this you will have to paste the Command given above so that your xampp server will be uninstalled.

Then after this you will have to paste the Command given above so that your xampp server will be uninstalled.

After this, there will be a popup in front of you,

Inside which you have been told that uninstalling XAMPP will delete all the related files from your XAMPP and all your data will be removed, after that you have to click on the Yes.

You can see that my XAMPP server has been successfully uninstalled, after that you click on OK and finish all these processes.

Command :- sudo rm -rf /opt/lampp

Then delete the folder of your XAMPP so that your storage will be free, whose commands are given to you above.
